Iron Edda: Threats of Midgard

From the Squid's Desk!

The Mollusks are on the move. We are looking forward to the upcoming launch of the Iron Edda Kickstarter from Sand and Steam Productions. Tracy has been working very hard (someone get the guy a drink!) on getting a huge crowd of truly talented writers together for this project. We're really looking forward to getting our tentacles into the mix.

We just completed an interview with him about our piece of this project:

Threats of Midgard

Threats will be a FATE based setting resource detailing all the creepy crawly critters lurking just outside the safe light of your home hearth in the world of Iron Edda. From rampaging sea monsters, to red-toothed wolves lurking in the deep forest, to the small worries close to home - we'll be bringing you challenges to face to earn your place in Valhalla.

Octojean Veinous and the Space-Time Robots or Possibly the Laundry Pile!

Happy Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year's, Holidays! It's a little known fact, but molluscs also celebrate a winter holiday, where we leave out our stockings (so many stockings!) in hopes that Tentaclise will fill them with tasty clams and strawberries!

We've been working on a few projects which are still hush-hush. We look forward to sharing them as soon as they're public. But rest assured, things are moving at a very non-slug-like pace. In addition to our work for RPGs, we made a little Choose-Your-Own-Adventure style adventure. Like all good adventures, the main character is a mollusc (a space octopus, to be precise), but for the sake of inclusivity we've included some humans too. Check it out!

A special shout-out goes to Jack Graham, who came up with the character of Octojean Veinous, and the Eclipse Phase crew for creating a universe eerily similar to the one we write about here.

Enjoy, and don't overindulge on the fermented clam sauce!
